Every year the spruce and pine release vast quantities of pollen. In the air it looks like smoke billowing from the trees. Settled in the lakes it looks like this. It's natural and harmless but does make a bit of a mess. Life tends to be like that. It's good news for fish and frogs and water bugs who feast And it's soon gone
At least it gets dealt with that way.
