Bondi Resort Blog

Come on into our Blog for a look at the wonderful world we've got to share! With over 240 hectares (600 acres) of wilderness woodlands surrounding the resort, just ten minutes from Algonquin Park, we feature over 400 metres (1200’) of waterfront and beach; boat rentals; summer hiking trails winding through fields and woods; 20 km. of groomed cross country ski trails and snowshoeing in winter; access to nearby snowmobile trails for sledders, and a toboggan hill for the young at heart.

Fire and Ice

Come for the weekend, Jan. 28th. Spend some time tubing Main St. in Bracebridge, at the Fire and Ice Fesitval (they turn the entire main street into a tubing run!!)   and then restore your soul in the peace and quiet of our ski/snowshoe woods

So very Welcome Home

Nancy and Bill have been bringing the family to Bondi for a special new year for 34 years. It started small but families tend to grow. There are now 25 of them-- 26 next year when their first great grandchild arrives! That will mark 35 years at Bondi. Wow. We are humbled and grateful #bondivillageresort#explorersedge #familytraditions #muskoka #northmuskoka

perfection

David and Brian work so hard to maintain our 20 km. of fabulous cross country ski trails -- each trail leading through different ecosystems, from black spruce bog, birch and hemlock stands, to the one that goes by the beaver ponds and overlooks the river. (stay OFF the river ice. ALWAYS) As a result of their hard work, we've got some of the very best trails in the region. And our guests tell us that every time they ski them :) #bondivillageresort#explorersedge #northmuskoka #nordicski #getoutdoors #lovewinter#muskoka #tourismontario

move it here, move it there...

Spare a thought for Brian and David who are spending most of their time relocating snow. These were taken this morning. Ski trails are too deep for them to pull the groomer so need to be packed in again first. These guys are our winter heroes
