Come on into our Blog for a look at the wonderful world we've got to share! With over 240 hectares (600 acres) of wilderness woodlands surrounding the resort, just ten minutes from Algonquin Park, we feature over 400 metres (1200’) of waterfront and beach; boat rentals; summer hiking trails winding through fields and woods; 20 km. of groomed cross country ski trails and snowshoeing in winter; access to nearby snowmobile trails for sledders, and a toboggan hill for the young at heart.

Calling Prince Charming

Sophia was determined to catch a frog. Just so she could kiss it, just once, just in case...

The frogs, however were equally determined to avoid having to take on Palatial consort duties with beautiful princesses, and proved to be quite elusive!

Just when she thought she had all the stars aligned, the frog zipped away.

We were treated to a chorus of the tree frogs in the pond behind this little creek though, while the hunt went on.

Taffy offered her assistance, which as it turned out was less helpful than one might expect.   Sophia's aunt Emma took on the role of papparazzi  -- after all, if one of those frogs had found its way to Sophia's kiss, and had morphed into the handsome prince, we would definitely need pictures for the tabloids, would we not?
