April 12 brought Mergansers

Every day here, Nature brings us great gifts. Yesterday, these mergansers appeared along the shore. The 'boys', in full mating plumage, are hard to photograph (they 'cheat the meter' on the camera with their dazzling white, and are very very shy of cameras) Fabulous birds to have back with us, and to watch all through the summer as the moms come by with their big broods to fish along our shorelines. Napster Art

We are very proud of Napster, our tail-painting cat, who uses his lovely artwork to raise money for charities. This lovely little creature passed away July 2015, but left a huge legacy, having raised over $12,000 for various charities through the sale of his artwork. That artwork, through prints and notecards, is still available.
