Ragged Moose

Sept. 17. At this time of year, the deer and moose are dropping the velvet from their newly minted antlers and racks... It is itchy and annoying -- they rub the antlers against low shrubs to help get the velvet off. And they look pretty darn ragged... Gerry Webb got this image of a young moose in Algonquin this week.

Napster Art

We are very proud of Napster, our tail-painting cat, who uses his lovely artwork to raise money for charities. This lovely little creature passed away July 2015, but left a huge legacy, having raised over $12,000 for various charities through the sale of his artwork. That artwork, through prints and notecards, is still available.
