Don't miss this one.
The Dwight Lions' Club are hosting their annual Hunters' Supper at the Dwight Community Centre this Saturday.
5 p.m. until 7 p.m, but be warned, it's a happening sort of hunter's supper... if you arrive at 5 minutes to 7 all that may be left is gravy.
These guys have GREAT food. And a great price.
$15/adult, $7.50 for children under 12, and that will gt you a traditional roast beef dinner, with veggies, baked potatoes and salad.
And yes, home-baked pies.
Not to mention great company! See you there!

Going...
What a beautiful hot spring day today presented us with. As you can see, the ice has shifted in the bay, moving off into both corners. It is very dark now, the ice -- that's the prelude to it simply vanishing back into the water. If we don't get any wind, it could just leave without causing any damage to docks.
Lovely to see the clouds reflecting in open water again! It has been a long winter!

NovApril
This year, we seem to be cycling through all four seasons on an almost daily basis. The calendar seems just a little bit confused.. is it November? Is it April?
This has been going around on the net. And, for once, it's not only pretty funny, it has some smidge of truth within.

In the meantime, if you're heading to Muskoka this weekend, pack in layers. The lakes are still icebound, there will be no boats out there. Swimming is definitely out. You'll want waterproof boots because the woods are wet.
On the other hand, you'll not be bothered by flies, you will get to see moose while driving in the Park, and bird watching in the spring delivers new birds every day.
