Bondi Resort Blog

Come on into our Blog for a look at the wonderful world we've got to share! With over 240 hectares (600 acres) of wilderness woodlands surrounding the resort, just ten minutes from Algonquin Park, we feature over 400 metres (1200’) of waterfront and beach; boat rentals; summer hiking trails winding through fields and woods; 20 km. of groomed cross country ski trails and snowshoeing in winter; access to nearby snowmobile trails for sledders, and a toboggan hill for the young at heart.

Almost the Tour du France

Last year, Grant cycled 1000 km. while he was staying here at BONDI. This year, during his three weeks with us, he took it a little easier, but still completed 700 km.

Favourite ride? From BONDI to TEA LAKE, in Algonquin Park. He says he enjoys the hills, and the scenery. Hills? We've got 'em!! The Canadian Shield is far from being level.

And scenery, well, nobody can argue that the views into Algonquin Park, at Tea Lake itself, and all the way back to Bondi, are second to none.

There are plenty of places to bike -- including a loop all the way around the Lake of Bays. For those who aspire to complete a shorter distance, biking to the end of the Port Cunnington Road provides beautiful scenery, and some challenging hills as well.
