Bondi Resort Blog

Come on into our Blog for a look at the wonderful world we've got to share! With over 240 hectares (600 acres) of wilderness woodlands surrounding the resort, just ten minutes from Algonquin Park, we feature over 400 metres (1200’) of waterfront and beach; boat rentals; summer hiking trails winding through fields and woods; 20 km. of groomed cross country ski trails and snowshoeing in winter; access to nearby snowmobile trails for sledders, and a toboggan hill for the young at heart.

Trout!

"What's for dinner?" I asked our fishermen when they returned yesterday from a day on the Lake of Bays.
"Trout," came the immediate unhesitating reply.
This is their first stay with us, and they were delighted with the fishing (not the mention the catching!) All of them had their fill of trout, and big ones, too! These were all about 19 or 20" long, so good sized, and tasty on the bbq!
I'm currently shooting with a camera that has no flash attachment (my favourite camera jammed, and is not yet repaired), so the pictures are little dark. Bob and Dave have promised to send my better shots for the blog, if they ever get their lines out of the water!
