Bondi Resort Blog

Come on into our Blog for a look at the wonderful world we've got to share! With over 240 hectares (600 acres) of wilderness woodlands surrounding the resort, just ten minutes from Algonquin Park, we feature over 400 metres (1200’) of waterfront and beach; boat rentals; summer hiking trails winding through fields and woods; 20 km. of groomed cross country ski trails and snowshoeing in winter; access to nearby snowmobile trails for sledders, and a toboggan hill for the young at heart.

Melting Shadows

It is Spring. You can feel it, if you pause in a sunbeam.

You can see it, dripping from the eaves at the tip of icicles.  You can see it in the snowman, gradually shrinking but still defiant...

You can hear it, as the birds change their tunes, as the deer fill the woods with their tracks.

It is March.  Perfect weather to get out on the ski trails, or Hidden Valley downhill skiing, or snowmobiling the beautifully kept trails.  Perfect weather to snowshoe into the woods where the shadows lie long and blue under the evergreens, or to simply walk, listening to the woods.

March is when everthing starts to move again. You should too!

  1. We're in that halfway spot in between. We can still get a good deal of snow through March and into April, but at the same time, the sun's higher in the sky, and you can feel it.
