Bondi Resort Blog

Come on into our Blog for a look at the wonderful world we've got to share! With over 240 hectares (600 acres) of wilderness woodlands surrounding the resort, just ten minutes from Algonquin Park, we feature over 400 metres (1200’) of waterfront and beach; boat rentals; summer hiking trails winding through fields and woods; 20 km. of groomed cross country ski trails and snowshoeing in winter; access to nearby snowmobile trails for sledders, and a toboggan hill for the young at heart.

McCann Camp CHILI COOK-OFF

COMING SOON, TO TASTEBUDS NEAR YOU...

The Algonquin Snowmobile Club is holding their annual Chili Cook-off at McCann Camp, January 24 at 11 a.m.

Bring your best bowl of chili -- or bring some bread and Advil to help cool down your mouth after you dive into the offerings! (keep in mind that there is one species of jalapeno pepper whose Spanish name translates loosely as "Gringo Killer.")

The Club has been working hard to get the trails cleared after the big wind storms that hit us around Christmas time. They now have almost all the trails open -- and they have a fabulous new trail goomer.

You can check conditions, or check out their web-cam, at www.algonquin-sc.on.ca/webcam.html

Everyone is welcome at all Club events, and on the trails. Don't forget to bring your manners!

We link to the ASC trails, and welcome snowmobilers at Bondi.
