Bondi Resort Blog

Come on into our Blog for a look at the wonderful world we've got to share! With over 240 hectares (600 acres) of wilderness woodlands surrounding the resort, just ten minutes from Algonquin Park, we feature over 400 metres (1200’) of waterfront and beach; boat rentals; summer hiking trails winding through fields and woods; 20 km. of groomed cross country ski trails and snowshoeing in winter; access to nearby snowmobile trails for sledders, and a toboggan hill for the young at heart.

Talking Turkey with the Lions

The flock of wild turkeys were spotted in our back field yesterday, doing the turkey trot for cover. They don't need to fret. They're not on this particular menu!

Coming up this SATURDAY, April 17, is the annual turkey dinner fundraiser for the Cancer Society, run by the Dwight Lion's Club. From 5 - 7 p.m., at the Dwight Community Centre, this is a feast not to be missed. Turkey with all the trimmings, and homemade pies provided by the great cooks of the Dwight Women's Institute, and a great cause.

$14 for adults, and $6 for children. What a great deal! All that lovely food you didn't have to cook, and great company with your friends and neighbours.

All the money donated in our area stays in our area to pay for the transportation of patients to treatment centres. This is a cause close to our hearts -- Brian is a Lion... and he has also benefited from the volunteer drivers getting to and from Sudbury over the years, so you know we're going to be there Sunday! We hope you will too.
