Social Whirl!

It's been quite a week! Let's see.... Kelly and Jason had their 13th anniversary. Jenna and Samantha turned 8. Tess and Sophie turned 3...

About the only food group in the Lodge kitchen this week is cake... (and apples, cut up for the Pony.)

In the other cottages, we are not allowed to mention Francis' birthday; Geoff's birthday was supposed to be top secret, too ... Brian's birthday is July 14th, and our guests all know that, so no secret there! We always have to party for that one!

The gang is planning a monster bash to celebrate Norm's 75th. It's all a whirl! That's what happens when families get together! It made for an extra special cook-out!

The potato cannon made it's first appearance since being grounded during the G8, and Brian found himself giving lessons in the engineering of the cannon to a large group of interested guests.

Carol brought the cake. Sue was in charge of s'mores...

And Geno... well, now he's got a first place Seed Spitting Certificate to hang on the wall next to the Order of Canada.

This is the stuff of memories!

Napster Art

We are very proud of Napster, our tail-painting cat, who uses his lovely artwork to raise money for charities. This lovely little creature passed away July 2015, but left a huge legacy, having raised over $12,000 for various charities through the sale of his artwork. That artwork, through prints and notecards, is still available.
