Bondi Resort Blog

Come on into our Blog for a look at the wonderful world we've got to share! With over 240 hectares (600 acres) of wilderness woodlands surrounding the resort, just ten minutes from Algonquin Park, we feature over 400 metres (1200’) of waterfront and beach; boat rentals; summer hiking trails winding through fields and woods; 20 km. of groomed cross country ski trails and snowshoeing in winter; access to nearby snowmobile trails for sledders, and a toboggan hill for the young at heart.

Of Carnivals and Causes

Dorset's Snowball Winter Carnival was --as usual -- a booming success.  A LOT of people were there, enjoying all the activities.

This picture, from the morning parade, celebrates Dorset's efforts to get a Nurse Practioner Station in the village.   This is moving closer to realization, and would be of great benefit to the whole area, including those folks who like to vacation here!

You can help boost it along by checking out this page.

And if you didn't make it to this year's Carnival, be sure to pencil it in for Next Winter.

This next weekend, the Carnival action moves to Dwight.  Winter Carnivals make the season a whole lot brighter

  1. I'll have to get down to the area next winter for at least one of these carnivals.

And it's a good idea to get a nurse practitioner up there... Huntsville and Haliburton can be a long, long way off, especially in the winter.
