Bondi Resort Blog

Come on into our Blog for a look at the wonderful world we've got to share! With over 240 hectares (600 acres) of wilderness woodlands surrounding the resort, just ten minutes from Algonquin Park, we feature over 400 metres (1200’) of waterfront and beach; boat rentals; summer hiking trails winding through fields and woods; 20 km. of groomed cross country ski trails and snowshoeing in winter; access to nearby snowmobile trails for sledders, and a toboggan hill for the young at heart.

Trick or Treat, or Pumpkins

we don't get many trick or treaters out here anymore. Most of the local kids are 'too growed up', and there is a fabulous party the night before at the Community Centre, so no doubt they are also all candied out as well.  But what the heck, one must join the fun, yes?

Megan and David carved these pumpkins -- can you tell which one was David's?

Our driveway Witch comes out every year. And every year Taffy barks frantically to try to scare her away.

Last year, Taffy was a butterfly, but this year, she opted for the easy-to-run-around-in ballerina costume.

So, here's out small salute to Hallowtide, all three days of it.  All Hallows' Eve; All Saints' Day, and All Souls' Day.  We may have lost the gravity of the traditions, but it's good to keep some of the fun.
