Bondi Resort Blog

Come on into our Blog for a look at the wonderful world we've got to share! With over 240 hectares (600 acres) of wilderness woodlands surrounding the resort, just ten minutes from Algonquin Park, we feature over 400 metres (1200’) of waterfront and beach; boat rentals; summer hiking trails winding through fields and woods; 20 km. of groomed cross country ski trails and snowshoeing in winter; access to nearby snowmobile trails for sledders, and a toboggan hill for the young at heart.

1200 feet of fun

Annie celebrated her second birthday at the beach this week!
And yes, there was cake -- from Henrietta's!

Katie and Richelle demonstrated some serious core skills,
doubling up on the Stand Up Paddleboard
How very lucky we are to have 1200' of shallow sandy shorefront!

Much of Lake of Bays (indeed most of the Muskoka Lakes, thanks to that fabulous Canadian Shield granite just below the surface!)  is steep and rocky along the shores, with only tiny pockets of sandy beachfront, but our beach is perfect for all ages -- and our sandpile is an enormous hit with the little ones!
A day at the beach with Grandpa! Heaven!  Vic
enjoys some time with grand-daughter Victoria!

so much to do along this lovely shallow shore!

Matthew and Annie were building sand castles

Elizabeth, caught in a rare moment of contemplation!
