Bondi Resort Blog

Come on into our Blog for a look at the wonderful world we've got to share! With over 240 hectares (600 acres) of wilderness woodlands surrounding the resort, just ten minutes from Algonquin Park, we feature over 400 metres (1200’) of waterfront and beach; boat rentals; summer hiking trails winding through fields and woods; 20 km. of groomed cross country ski trails and snowshoeing in winter; access to nearby snowmobile trails for sledders, and a toboggan hill for the young at heart.

Something Fishy

Dave and Mike have been out in their boat, pursuing the elusive fish in the Lake of Bays.

Not that there aren't lots of fish in the lake, but the thrill is in the pursuit... and often the pursuit is all they get...

But not lately.  Lately, they've been angling their way to the top.

These fish are safely back in the lake -- the boys are into the Catch and Release most of the time, and only sometimes bring one home for the bbq.

If you are new to fishing, there are guided trips that you can book, with Dragonfly Tours, and with Algonquin Adventure Tours.  We can steer you in the right direction.

But we can't tell you just where the BMD have their secret fishing holes... :)
