Williams Week
It's almost 48 uninterrupted summers that Evelyn Williams Hadden has been bringing her family to Bondi.
Over the years, Williams' week has meant a lot to us. Not the least was the year that they "took over" the resort -- changed the name on the sign, put up SOLD signs, and ran the office for a day.
Or the year they erected a banner proclaiming Nudist Week at Bondi. That stopped some traffic.
Whatever the scam, it was always fun, and certainly helped shaped some very special memories for all of us.
And every summer, the Clan gathers on the beach, for a bonfire and a Potlatch supper that would feed a small country. Eveyone has their specialite du maison, co-ordinated by Stuart. Every summer is special.
This summer, a presentation was made to Norm and Nancy, on the occasion of their 40th Anniversary. As Nancy said, she can't believe it's been 40 years. With Norm...
They must be staying together because he makes the world's best hamburgers...
We are honoured to be honourary members of the Clan, invited to the festival, and included in their memories. Recognizing the 'formality' of such an occasion, Brian always dresses appropriately.
Here's to many more summers
