Come on into our Blog for a look at the wonderful world we've got to share! With over 240 hectares (600 acres) of wilderness woodlands surrounding the resort, just ten minutes from Algonquin Park, we feature over 400 metres (1200’) of waterfront and beach; boat rentals; summer hiking trails winding through fields and woods; 20 km. of groomed cross country ski trails and snowshoeing in winter; access to nearby snowmobile trails for sledders, and a toboggan hill for the young at heart.

Catching some Rays

There's heat in the sun now. The snow is beginning to turn into spring 'corn snow'. Icicles begin to drip. Chickens venture out of the stable to bask in the sunshine.
Seems everyone is ready to enjoy a little 'catnap' in the sun... Eddie pulled up the round bale, luxuriating in the afternoon sun.
On the hill the deer were snuggled down in the pine trees, facing the south and acting as solar collectors.
And Achmed came in through his catflap to rest and recharge his batteries in his nest box -- with the sun beating in through the window onto the back of it, it was very very cosy!
Nobody wants to be indoors when the spring sun is like this... but you can only stay out there so long, and then a little cup of tea in a sunbeam in the living room is the perfect way to rest up for the NEXT outdoor adventure!
