Bondi Resort Blog

Come on into our Blog for a look at the wonderful world we've got to share! With over 240 hectares (600 acres) of wilderness woodlands surrounding the resort, just ten minutes from Algonquin Park, we feature over 400 metres (1200’) of waterfront and beach; boat rentals; summer hiking trails winding through fields and woods; 20 km. of groomed cross country ski trails and snowshoeing in winter; access to nearby snowmobile trails for sledders, and a toboggan hill for the young at heart.

We're off to see the Colour!

Lucy is here from England, visiting her brother Hugh. Hugh is a great long time friend, and spends a lot of time building and maintaining the cros country jumps I use to school the horses. He'll be here next week doing just that!
They dropped by on Wednesday evening, arriving too late to get into the Park and get organized, so they stayed with me. This let Lucy ease into the camping format - with a warm house, hot water and bathroom right to hand!
Next morning, bright and early, they headed out for a four day canoe trek. The fall colours are at their peak in Algonquin right now. We are always a little later than the Park -- it's because we are a little lower in altitude.
Mind you, Lucy didn't need to go anywhere to see great colour. This tree is just outside the door!
