Bondi Resort Blog

Come on into our Blog for a look at the wonderful world we've got to share! With over 240 hectares (600 acres) of wilderness woodlands surrounding the resort, just ten minutes from Algonquin Park, we feature over 400 metres (1200’) of waterfront and beach; boat rentals; summer hiking trails winding through fields and woods; 20 km. of groomed cross country ski trails and snowshoeing in winter; access to nearby snowmobile trails for sledders, and a toboggan hill for the young at heart.

A Man's Sand is his Castle

It is said that it takes a village to raise a child.  In this instance, it took a whole pile of children to raise a village.  A sandcastle village that is.

Eric, Kevin, Ethan, Alison, Amy, Carrie, Julia, Erik and Lucas all got into the act at one point or another...

It began as a small project, but seemed to be egged on to be bigger and better.  That's a nice plus about our beach and sand hill -- it offers plenty of scope for young architects.

I would have benefited from a large ladder to get the aerial view -- the kids created the words:
I (heart) BONDI VILLAGE at the top of our sand pile.  Pretty impressive.

Right at the water's edge, Hannah, Sydney and Quinn offered up their own 'ode to Bondi'.

And almost in the water itself,  Amy indulged in her very own private sand-pool castle, where she was, surrounded by her trusty Noodle Subjects, truly, Princess.
