Blue Yonders and Big Spaces

One of the great things about having such a big open lawn (which was once upon a time a big open hayfield!) is that kids can get up to all kinds of games. We get kites, volleyball, soccer, Manhunt... and this week we had Sam flying the most extraordinary little plane. 
This wasn't a remote control aircraft, it was simply one you throw -- but it could loop the loop, and really fly!

Brian, taking advantage of some perfect weather, succumbed to the lure of the sky as well... he got out the Piper PA11 Cub airplane, and headed off into the wild blue yonder himself!

You can do that, too, when there's plenty of room for all!
