Bondi Resort Blog

Come on into our Blog for a look at the wonderful world we've got to share! With over 240 hectares (600 acres) of wilderness woodlands surrounding the resort, just ten minutes from Algonquin Park, we feature over 400 metres (1200’) of waterfront and beach; boat rentals; summer hiking trails winding through fields and woods; 20 km. of groomed cross country ski trails and snowshoeing in winter; access to nearby snowmobile trails for sledders, and a toboggan hill for the young at heart.

Misty Morning

The Wellington Waterloo Club was here on the weekend. They got gorgeous weather and spent most of the days out with canoes.

Early on Sunday morning, some of them headed to the dock for an early morning swim. In the mist.

The day was lovely, with the sun just starting to peek over the horizon and burn off the mist.  The water is still plenty warm for swimmers (warmer than the air at that time of day!)

There is magic in the Muskoka lakes at any time of year, but perhaps never more than early in the morning in the autumn mist.

The loons have been in the bay all week, calling in the night.
The trees are not at their peak of colour yet -- they should be fabulous for the Thanksgiving weekend.  (by the by, we still have a few vacancies for that weekend! Give us a call!)
