Bondi Resort Blog

Come on into our Blog for a look at the wonderful world we've got to share! With over 240 hectares (600 acres) of wilderness woodlands surrounding the resort, just ten minutes from Algonquin Park, we feature over 400 metres (1200’) of waterfront and beach; boat rentals; summer hiking trails winding through fields and woods; 20 km. of groomed cross country ski trails and snowshoeing in winter; access to nearby snowmobile trails for sledders, and a toboggan hill for the young at heart.

Season and Celebration

Ralph and Anne are more used to seeing Bondi in mid-summer. When they came this weekend with their children and grand-daughter to celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary, they were quite taken with the 'different vibe' of Bondi in a different season.

There is a change of pace with each season, and along with that comes a change of the colours and wildlife that are here.  Right now, the iris are in spectacular bloom. Come late July, those colours will have given way to the Hollyhocks, just to give one small example.

Grand-daughter Ellie was making her first visit to Bondi. The shallow water got a definite vote of approval.

It was lovely to see them all here -- we have watched Matt and Heidi both grow up over their summers here at Bondi, so to welcome them back with their own growing families is a true delight.

Congratulations on your Anniversary, Anne and Ralph. Here's to many more!  See you later in July!
