We're getting some lovely mild temperatures -- still cold enough to keep the snow, but warm enough to make being outside almost irresistable.

On my blog, due to recent weather phenomena like ice fog, we've been discussing the difference between rime and hoar frost. This looks like hoar frost. Yes? Next thing you know I'll have to buy a microscope for discerning among the types of ice crystal formations.
