Felonious
Felonious Munk is our favourite stable chipmunk. He is a total felon, raiding the chicken food daily. He lives in the back corner of Jay Jay's stall, and we suspect he's quite the condo in there, judging by the amount of seeds he is stashing.

There's a deer in the field, hiding behind flowers. She ate the flowers we had out to direct guests to the wedding venue. Good thing she's cute and gets away with stuff like that. I saw her a few days before the wedding, and she looked ready to drop her fawn right then and there!
Dream Moment
Our beautiful bride, riding in to meet her groom in our back fields. Every wedding is unique! Christine is a regular rider on our Abby, and together, they were perfection.

Every Wedding is the Bride's Dream -- this one certainly was.
One of our guests held her wedding ceremony in our back field, complete with horses for the bride's party, and dirt bikes for the groom's... We had a beautiful sunny day, no rain at all, but some dramatic skies !

this is our broody hen, Hen Solo, who is just over the moon delighted that some of the eggs she has been carefully caring for the past 21 days have suddenly morphed into these tiny fluffy things that huddle under her wings.
Since we have no rooster, the eggs were brought over for her by a friend of ours... we couldn't just watch her sitting there so hopefully on an egg that couldn't hatch. So now, this...

We have such news!!!
Such wonderful news we have. David and Megan are having a baby!!!! Another Bondi Kid!!!! (and our very own!!) We are so excited.

Very sad to hear of Theron's passing. He is a long time and very valued member of our Bondi family here at the resort. We'll miss this gentle man.
Come to the Lake!
Long range predictions for the Toronto area are for a very hot summer -- and sadly many of the beaches are closed until (probably?) August due to the damage of the still on-going high water. But our lake and beach is wide open, we've got a nice breeze off the lake and lots of water for the family and kids! We have some vacancies still the week of, July 2nd; and July 15th. Come splash in our water!!!

Dorset Bridge now Re-Opened!
the work is finished on the hump-back bridge at Dorset, well ahead of the summer rush. This is how Dorset celebrated the opening. ;)
Dorset icon Brad Robinson was the first car across. Of course. Thanks to the great crew from Willis Kerr for finishing the job well ahead of the summer rush.
Summer detour, for those heading here from the North
just to be aware. The northbound lanes, turning to Hwy 60, are open. But if you're coming from the South, you need to go one interchange farther -- or come off sooner, by Arrowhead Park.
Cancellations mean opportunities.
We just got a few cancellations for the summer. :( Which means there is an opportunity to come and spend some quality family time here with us at Bondi Village. Two bedroom cottage, July 15 to 22; three bedroom July 29 to Aug. 5th. We've been making great family memories for four generations... come join our family.
We also have space for the weeks of June 24 to July 1st, July 2 to 9, July 15 to 22, And August 26 to Sept. 2 in three bedroom cottages. So there is SOME choice...
All the cottages face to the lake, all come with a canoe, a bbq, our weekly cookout and all our resort facilities and amenities.
