Bondi Resort Blog

Come on into our Blog for a look at the wonderful world we've got to share! With over 240 hectares (600 acres) of wilderness woodlands surrounding the resort, just ten minutes from Algonquin Park, we feature over 400 metres (1200’) of waterfront and beach; boat rentals; summer hiking trails winding through fields and woods; 20 km. of groomed cross country ski trails and snowshoeing in winter; access to nearby snowmobile trails for sledders, and a toboggan hill for the young at heart.

Painted Sky

This is the time of year we get fantastic sunsets. This one was no exception. What beautiful designs in the clouds!

While today it is drizzling, and the rain is pulling down the leaves, there is still a lot of colour out there with the oaks, aspens, tamaracks -- and of course the deep green counterpoint of the evergreens. This weekend is the Cranberry Festival at Bala -- always worth the visit!

If you go, be sure to drop by the Muskoka Lakes  Winery. Mention to Matt that you'd enjoy seeing Napster's artwork, "Cardinals", on the label of one of their cranberry wines.  We think it's a great idea. Jill Jillks did some heavy lobbying on the Cat's behalf.  The Winery (which makes outstanding wines, by the by) could then donate, oh, say, five cents a bottle to the charity of their choice. Napster would be ecstatic, the wine bottles would look great, and a little charity can never go astray...
