Come on into our Blog for a look at the wonderful world we've got to share! With over 240 hectares (600 acres) of wilderness woodlands surrounding the resort, just ten minutes from Algonquin Park, we feature over 400 metres (1200’) of waterfront and beach; boat rentals; summer hiking trails winding through fields and woods; 20 km. of groomed cross country ski trails and snowshoeing in winter; access to nearby snowmobile trails for sledders, and a toboggan hill for the young at heart.

Saved by the Bear

He came prepared!  John very kindly came over to help clear the rink after the last BIG dump of snow.  With a shovel in each hand, he was more than the match for the snow on the rink!

But John, who is better known as BEAR, didn't stop at saving the rink.   He rescued Arctic Chicken from the cold summer coop...

He rescued me from having to shovel off the rink this time round.

And he's offered me a Reiki treatment, which might just save my soul... or at least my sanity????

Based in Dwight, at his Bear Medicine Lodge, John is available for Reiki treatments, the saving of chickens, the shovelling of rinks and assorted other necessities of life.
