If you Ice it, Snow will Come

 Dave got a lovely surface on the rink, spending hours down there flooding it.





And then it snowed...



So Step Two is to clear that rink.  Taffy went down to see if she could be of any help.  Dave points out that when you are icing the rink, it doesn't look all that big... When you are shoveling snow off it, it somehow seems MUCH larger...

    And then multiply that however many for the Rideau Canal here- I think the surface size for the skateway is over 90 Olympic sized rinks- and it becomes quite a production.
