Bondi Resort Blog

Come on into our Blog for a look at the wonderful world we've got to share! With over 240 hectares (600 acres) of wilderness woodlands surrounding the resort, just ten minutes from Algonquin Park, we feature over 400 metres (1200’) of waterfront and beach; boat rentals; summer hiking trails winding through fields and woods; 20 km. of groomed cross country ski trails and snowshoeing in winter; access to nearby snowmobile trails for sledders, and a toboggan hill for the young at heart.

Spring Blessings

Spring flowers... like the flowering almond tree by the stable, are one of the best things about Srping.

Coming after the cool blues, greys, whites and dark greens of winter, the sudden explosion of colour in the leaves, grass and gardens is breathtaking.

The other great thing is the arrival of special treats... like asparagus. It's growing so fast now in the heat that we have to pick it daily. What a chore!

Brian and David got a few rows of potatoes planted this week, too. It will be some time before we get to enjoy that bounty, but it will come... it will come!

We'll enjoy the flowers in the meantime. Food is good for our bodies, but flowers are good for our souls...

If of thy mortal goods thou art bereft,

And from thy slender store two loaves alone to thee are left,

Sell one, and with the dole

Buy hyacinths to feed thy soul.
