Bondi Resort Blog

Come on into our Blog for a look at the wonderful world we've got to share! With over 240 hectares (600 acres) of wilderness woodlands surrounding the resort, just ten minutes from Algonquin Park, we feature over 400 metres (1200’) of waterfront and beach; boat rentals; summer hiking trails winding through fields and woods; 20 km. of groomed cross country ski trails and snowshoeing in winter; access to nearby snowmobile trails for sledders, and a toboggan hill for the young at heart.

April -- Annual Blizzard Season

When we were wondering where the snow was back in December, we should have known... it always arrives, even if it's a little late.

Every year we get April snow.

Some years more than others.

is that Spring, down there???
This seems to be a 'more than others' week, although the forecast is for it to get really warm later this week, and be an unusually hot May and June.

So here are some photos from the snowfall of April 6th...

Enjoy!

somebody was deliriously happy with the snow!

The cold weather and snow did slow down the rising waters
but we're still flooded...   and now we've got ice again.
