Bondi Resort Blog

Come on into our Blog for a look at the wonderful world we've got to share! With over 240 hectares (600 acres) of wilderness woodlands surrounding the resort, just ten minutes from Algonquin Park, we feature over 400 metres (1200’) of waterfront and beach; boat rentals; summer hiking trails winding through fields and woods; 20 km. of groomed cross country ski trails and snowshoeing in winter; access to nearby snowmobile trails for sledders, and a toboggan hill for the young at heart.

GO CANADA!

Olympic opening ceremonies are always spectacular, and Vancouver certainly delivered! What a great show. It was too late at night for me, however! I'm dragging about today! Pesky time zone!

Why is it that the commercials that air during the Olympics are actually entertaining? Three cheers for the P&G ads, Proud Sponsor of Moms. That's a keeper.

And we had a little smile when the Chevy cars got together to talk about "where they were from", and a little voice in the back piped up, "Huntsville." Is that a nod to the G8??

B.C. at any time of year is a dramatic backdrop, and the ski centres are truly second to none. This is a great showcase for Canada... So we hope you've got your "BELIEVE" signs up, and your flags displayed.

We got through the nervous moment when the Torch malfunctioned, and it looked like Gretzky would have to stand in the Dome for two weeks, holding the Relay torch high...

Now, if only that darn rain would just turn into snow for the West Coast... They deserve to have these Games be as special as B.C. is itself. GO CANADA. GO WORLD.
