Bondi Resort Blog

Come on into our Blog for a look at the wonderful world we've got to share! With over 240 hectares (600 acres) of wilderness woodlands surrounding the resort, just ten minutes from Algonquin Park, we feature over 400 metres (1200’) of waterfront and beach; boat rentals; summer hiking trails winding through fields and woods; 20 km. of groomed cross country ski trails and snowshoeing in winter; access to nearby snowmobile trails for sledders, and a toboggan hill for the young at heart.

Beat the Heat

We've still got cottages available this summer, right by the lake. It's a fabulous way for your whole family to beat the heat that is gripping Toronto and Southern Ontario. The lake is currently 23 degrees. The shade trees along the lake can knock the temperature down by ten to fifteen degrees, combined with the breeze off the lake.

There's plenty to do in the area right now -- from the launch of the restored S.S. Bigwin and Heritage Day taking place in Dorset this weekend to checking out the new Lake of Bays Brewery in Baysville. Or just hang out at the resort, enjoy the lake, enjoy the shade, hike up to see the beaver pond in the evening, when the heat has abated. Rediscover yourself, and your family. You'll be amazed.

Give us a call! We'll take three night bookings unti Saturday July 10, and week long bookings all summer long.
Come back to your senses, come home to Bondi.
