Our neighbour Gayle got this great photo of a northern flying squirrel eating caramel corn on the deck. She's been luckier with the camera than I have been, catching these little chaps for photo ops!
Also luckier than I was Tim Winegard, who snapped this photo this week in Algonquin Park.
Winter is a great time to go wildlife watching. For one thing, there are just plain less people in the Parks... and for another, the animals like to use the same trails people do, because they are packed down and make for easy travel.
So come on up to #northmuskoka and get out and about with the neighbours!
