Hay, Man!

When Vic was up ice-fishing last week, he took the time to help me pick up some more large round bales for the horses from Bliss Farm.
"I don't know anybody that goes through hay bales as fast as you do, with just four horses and a pony," was his comment.
That's because the horses have "help" when it comes to eating the timothy hay -- sometimes when I open up the barn in the morning, I'll find the deer all curled up IN the hay, enjoying breakfast in bed!

  1. Dr. Doolittle has nothing on you! I spotted deer this past week. The first time here, ever! No hay, though. The sledder pretty much scare them away!
