Bondi Resort Blog

Come on into our Blog for a look at the wonderful world we've got to share! With over 240 hectares (600 acres) of wilderness woodlands surrounding the resort, just ten minutes from Algonquin Park, we feature over 400 metres (1200’) of waterfront and beach; boat rentals; summer hiking trails winding through fields and woods; 20 km. of groomed cross country ski trails and snowshoeing in winter; access to nearby snowmobile trails for sledders, and a toboggan hill for the young at heart.

Outstretched Wings and Soaring Hearts

Geese are 71% more efficient at flying when they work together.
Today, the first of the great heart-lifting "Vs" went over us, arrow true to the south.
We wish them well. And we wish that they would migrate, all of 'em... we don't quite understand why some geese seem to think Toronto is the southern end of the journey, and Lake of Bays is the northern terminus.
All the same, there is magic in the sight and sound of these great migrations, summoning the turn of the seasons and the beginning of something new. There is power in their ability to work together. Beauty in the teamwork.
So it's fitting that while the geese were carving their path overhead, two of our guests stopped on the bridge on the Rail Trail in Algonquin Park, and committed to their own uplifting wings and teamwork.
Congratulations to Syl and Kelly, who announced their engagement today.
