Going the Distance

 Sheri had the best possible morning for the long distance swim from the Island.

That is a mile away. She had the best possible escort, too, with her family in close attendance on one side...





And Taffy, taking her supervisory job very seriously indeed, on the other side in the escort boat.

Francis and Kyle were also in attendance, and Brian came past us twice with the airplane (once taking off, once landing)

With the lake at about 78 degrees F, the water like glass, Sheri had the very best of the day.
