Iconic summer destination, Henrietta's Pine Bakery has been providing great food and legendary sticky buns for generations.
Now they have added yet another reason to drop by -- proving that it is not just about the sticky buns.
They have just opened a Coffee Lounge, much like their 'Bistro', but with a smaller menu and self service with items such as bagels and muffins for breakfast (along with other goodies) and shepherd's pie, meat pies and soups for lunch.
Coffee is free (except for the fancy specialty types) with any purchase. It is a cosy, inviting and warm space, with lots of light flooding in, and comfy chairs and sofas that entice you to linger and chat.
It is planned to be open Thursdays through Sundays this winter, and was kicked off with an Open House on Sunday, complete with laden tables and plenty of hospitality.
Yet another reason to linger in Dwight!
One of my favourite places to stop in the province!
