Bondi Resort Blog

Come on into our Blog for a look at the wonderful world we've got to share! With over 240 hectares (600 acres) of wilderness woodlands surrounding the resort, just ten minutes from Algonquin Park, we feature over 400 metres (1200’) of waterfront and beach; boat rentals; summer hiking trails winding through fields and woods; 20 km. of groomed cross country ski trails and snowshoeing in winter; access to nearby snowmobile trails for sledders, and a toboggan hill for the young at heart.

A Lovely Morning for a Swim

Even though the 9 a.m. start can be a little chilly, it is still the perfect time for a swim!

Kristen, Chris and Andrew joined us on the Main dock for the Marathon Swim this morning.  500 metres out to the rock at the Point... the same back in.

Different styles are always on display for the 'entry into the water' portion...  Chris demonstrated the "let's walk on water" approach...
And Kristen gets tops marks for her form once in the lake!

With the exception of a pair of mallard ducks, these three were the only creatures causing ripples in the bay!

They posed for the obligatory photo at the Point rock..
And Andrew made it home to the dock in record time. That's because he was on duty to cook the bacon and waffles for breakfast!
