Bondi Resort Blog

Come on into our Blog for a look at the wonderful world we've got to share! With over 240 hectares (600 acres) of wilderness woodlands surrounding the resort, just ten minutes from Algonquin Park, we feature over 400 metres (1200’) of waterfront and beach; boat rentals; summer hiking trails winding through fields and woods; 20 km. of groomed cross country ski trails and snowshoeing in winter; access to nearby snowmobile trails for sledders, and a toboggan hill for the young at heart.

Go Fish

Some winter days simply call for you to come outside.

Who could resist?  Not the fisher-folk of the BMD and their friends!

Mike and Dave each have a fish-hut -- and both are available for rental through Bondi Village, (shameless self-promotion, here!)

On sparkly sunny winter days, there is just something about watching a line through the ice...  whether you chose (as Mike does) to be on top of the ice...

Or (along with Megan and Courtenay) the inside of the heated hut, with something warm to drink close to hand, is more your pleasure.

There is a well-worn track between the huts, which they follow for gathering at lunch-time.

For good times, you can be anywhere at all out there at the 'fish camp.'

  1. It's admittedly not for me- I don't like the taste of fish, and I'd quickly get bored.
