Bondi Resort Blog

Come on into our Blog for a look at the wonderful world we've got to share! With over 240 hectares (600 acres) of wilderness woodlands surrounding the resort, just ten minutes from Algonquin Park, we feature over 400 metres (1200’) of waterfront and beach; boat rentals; summer hiking trails winding through fields and woods; 20 km. of groomed cross country ski trails and snowshoeing in winter; access to nearby snowmobile trails for sledders, and a toboggan hill for the young at heart.

Classic Cars, and Tractors, and Bulldozers...

Apparently, we don't subscribe to the New Model Every Year of vehicle maintenance...

Brian celebrated the arrival of spring and dry, salt free roads by wheeling out the 1974 Mercury, for a little land cruise. Parked next to Nancy's Honda Fit, it is hilariously huge. We don't drive it much... but Brian does store his (very old) golf clubs in the trunk, just in case the opportunity should arise...

He was busy during the winter, logging with the 1954 John Deere bulldozer. It's true, nothing runs like a Deere... and nothing runs longer.

And now that Carol is eyeing up the garden, we'll soon be seeing Josephine the Tractor reappear. She's an International F Model Cub, from 1954.

Of course, we still have the hayrake, (operational) that dates back to the 1920's. We like things that are built to last...
