Bondi Resort Blog

Come on into our Blog for a look at the wonderful world we've got to share! With over 240 hectares (600 acres) of wilderness woodlands surrounding the resort, just ten minutes from Algonquin Park, we feature over 400 metres (1200’) of waterfront and beach; boat rentals; summer hiking trails winding through fields and woods; 20 km. of groomed cross country ski trails and snowshoeing in winter; access to nearby snowmobile trails for sledders, and a toboggan hill for the young at heart.

ACTION!

Weather conditions were perfect for the waterskiing, kneeboarding crowd on Friday afternoon.

Learning to waterski used to be such a summer tradition. We've noticed a bit of a trend of late towards just lying in tubes and being towed about, but that really doesn't compare with the thrill of learning how to DO SOMETHING. How to get up on skis with the water pushing you back... learning to cross the wake... the heady stuff of dropping a ski and going slalom... even the tricky dock-start... All of these carry with them the thrill of accomplishment, something you can't get from just clinging to a tube.

Brian was busy with the ski boat yesterday. And Dave, well, he wanted to give Nancy a bit of a thrill, getting pretty close to her camera!
