Ponies and the "cute" factor
Cute matters. Just ask any chipmunk, who shamelessly gets enticed in with peanuts and birdseed, while his less 'cute' cousin the squirrel meets a barrage of squirrel-defeating technology to keep him out of the same birdseed...
Or ask Squeegee, easily the most popular attraction in the stable for the little kids. That's because a) he's small, so just their size, and b) he's terminally cute.
Judy's very generous about taking our guests for pony rides.
But when it comes to that personal moment between Judy and her pony, well, now that's just between the two of them.

Re: Muskoka Bloggers, Link...
ReplyDeleteConsider it done! Sorry I missed you. Not sure why. (Half-zeimer's?) Middle age rears its ugly head.
I think Elizabeth liked the chickens best... We have lots of Bondi pictures up on our blog now, including one of Squeegee (about half way down the page) Elizabeth actually met Squeegee much more up close and personal but for some reason we got caught up in the moment and forgot all about taking a picture!
