Talk about getting your Ducks in a Row!

Mergansers often take on baby-sitting chores for other mergansers, increasing the size of the young flock they are caring for.

That was the case this morning, as Mrs. Merganser came along the shoreline. It took her some time to get all those unruly 'kids' to toe the line...

But she succeeded! Talk about getting all your ducks in a row!

How big is this flock? Well, she has 23 ducklings in a neat line behind her.

We know. Taffy helped to count them.

Napster Art

We are very proud of Napster, our tail-painting cat, who uses his lovely artwork to raise money for charities. This lovely little creature passed away July 2015, but left a huge legacy, having raised over $12,000 for various charities through the sale of his artwork. That artwork, through prints and notecards, is still available.
