For 54 summers, Evelyn graced us with her presence, her grace, her dignity, her humour -- and shared with us her wonderful family.
It has been an honour and a privilege to have known this remarkable woman, to count her as one of our "Bondi Family".
When she arrived this year, she told me "I am so glad to be here."
The first week of her stay was highlighted by a wonderful reunion, for her brother Norman's 80th birthday celebration. Family had come from Seatltle, England, Michigan, Oman, all across Ontario... Virtually everyone was here -- sister, brother, children, grandchildren.
She passed away a week later, on July 13, with her family at her side, and while her passing leaves a sorrow, it also leaves a legacy.
94 is an amazing age. Ev's spirit shone
undimmed, and her love for her family radiated from her like sunshine.

For those of our extended Bondi Family who knew Evelyn, her obituary and her chosen charity information can be found here.
Blessed be, Evelyn... We will remember you forever
Quite a life well lived.
